Staff&Line UK Sets the Pace for EasyVista Sales With Three Significant Contract Wins

Following the acquisition of SAM UK in November 2006, Staff&Line scores three new deals in just eight weeks.

St Albans, UK, January 29th 2007: Staff&Line UK, the UK division of one of the leading publishers of IT Management software solutions, certified by Pink Elephant (1) as

ITIL®-compatible has won contracts with three UK based organisations; Leonard Cheshire Homes, Metropolitan Networks and Johnson Workplace Management Limited (JWML). The companies will implement EasyVista, Staff&Line’s third generation IT management platform, in the coming months. These new wins are the first since Staff&Line extended its reach and leadership position into the UK market with the acquisition of SAM UK, a specialist in IT Management(2) solutions.

  • Leonard Cheshire Homes: With 250 locations worldwide, Leonard Cheshire Homes is the largest voluntary sector provider of care and support services for disabled people. EasyVista’s Discovery and Asset Management modules will provide the asset knowledge and management information that Leonard Cheshire Homes needs to achieve the FAST Standard for Software Compliance (FSSC-1:2004). EasyVista has been fully integrated with the organisation’s existing IT Helpdesk solution and will go live in March 2007.
  • Metropolitan Networks: A specialist in network infrastructure and network security, Metropolitan Networks has selected EasyVista to support its managed service offering. The full EasyVista suite including Discovery, Asset Management and Service Management will go live in February and will enable Metropolitan Networks to provide a fully outsourced asset and IT service management role to organisations across a range of industries.
  • JWML: JWML provides building, facilities and property management services to a wide range of corporate and public sector organisations. EasyVista will be installed to manage the asset inventories of public sector clients engaged in Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) and will go live at the start of February. By allowing JWML’s PFI clients to monitor the status and location of their physical assets, EasyVista is expected to greatly improve business accountability and deliver significant savings.

David Silsby, Managing Director, Staff&Line UK says: “These three new contracts are a clear sign that the UK market is ready for a pioneering, web-based, IT management solution like EasyVista. Since being acquired, our highly experienced sales team has hit the ground running and closed three important EasyVista contracts. We look forward to securing many more in the coming months.”

Ashok Thomas, Managing Director of Metropolitan Networks comments: “We needed a technology which could manage several clients within a single repository. EasyVista provided exactly that and, because it is 100 per cent web based, we can access it from anywhere, as can our clients.”

Bryan Grieve, IT Director, Leonard Cheshire Homes says: “As a charity, it is crucial that we are in total control of our assets. The knowledge that EasyVista provides will allow us to effectively manage our software and operate in a much more streamlined and cost-effective way. In addition, installing EasyVista will be a proactive step towards our FAST accreditation, which is a key priority for the coming year.”
